Greetings to you from soggy Houston!
Your Archetype team just wanted to reach out in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey to check in with you. As those of you in Houston know all too well, it has been quite a memorable weekend! Unprecedented rain totals have left much of the city devastated by floods. We are hopeful that the worst is behind us. Forecasts show that the heavy rains have moved east of Houston. The bayous in Houston are full, so we are hoping and praying for no more damage. Due to flooding in our Houston office’s lower level parking area, power has been turned off to our office for a few days. Fortunately, in this digital age, our data rests securely in the cloud and our Houston team is working remotely. We packed up our laptops on Friday in anticipation of just such an event.
We are also fortunate to have two non-Houston locations. One in Dallas and one in North Carolina--where our trusty Vice President of Portfolio Management, Ethan Pollard, resides. The main Archetype phone number (346-352-2360) has been forwarded to Ethan. He is sitting at his regular post ready and willing to help you with any immediate service needs you may have. The rest of us are able to pick up messages via our email and will get back to you as soon as possible if you leave us a message.
I’m happy to report that our whole team is safe.
