WHAT'S IN A NAME? 

Arkos is a combination of the word ark, as in boat, and the Greek word telos, meaning "the end."

 

The Lord gave Noah specific plans to build an ark, to keep the people and the animals safe in the storm. Telos is what Jesus uttered on the cross when His work on earth was finished, and it was time for his purpose to be fulfilled.

 

And so, it seemed only fitting that we combine the two words to create Arkos—representing a safe place to ride out life’s storms so you can live as the Lord intended—discovering His purpose for you in the different seasons of your life.
