Sam believes that financial planning works best when it's grounded in what really matters to clients, and to do this means connecting wealth with purpose. Financial planning is never as simple as forecasting the day you can retire. He's committed to helping clients bring more intention to their financial decisions, so their resources support the life and priorities they actually want.

Sam's interest in personal finance and investing goes back to high school, and he's followed the markets closely ever since. What draws him to this work isn't just an interest in the financial world, but building real relationships with the people he works with.

Sam was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, along with a certificate in Business Analytics. Prior to joining Arkos, he spent nearly six years with Alvarez & Marsal in their business consulting division, specializing in the firm's Digital & Technology Services practice. There, he worked across dozens of industries and client organizations, tackling some of their toughest operational and technological problems.

Outside the office, Sam stays active with golf, basketball, pickleball, tennis, and weightlifting. He's a loyal (if often long-suffering) Atlanta sports fan. His parents still call Marietta home, and his brother Alex and sister-in-law Katie live just outside Charlotte.
