As a wirehouse advisor, do you feel like you aren’t able to do everything you want to do for clients? Do you feel like you are “wired for more”? It made sense to start your career there, but does it make sense to finish it there?
While it's true that wirehouses offered the comfort of a well-known brand when you started, do you believe that brand still holds the same cache today? Could you use an aligned team to help you maximize that impact? What do you want to do for clients that you can’t do now?
Should you take the leap to independence? Is it time? Are your clients ready? If so, where should I go? Start my own firm? Join an existing one? Go RIA-only or be dually registered?
For me, all of these things ultimately came back to one question. What is my long-term vision for my career and my life? What is my purpose? Am I fulfilling it at work?
Leaving the wirehouse was a tough decision for me. What made me do it was the vision God gave me to participate in scaling something that would allow other advisors to serve their clients in a more meaningful fashion.
I’ve been in your shoes. I know the feeling of “one-size-fits-all” compliance and marketing rules. I know how hard it is to get the resources you need to grow. I know how painful it is to feel misaligned with the values of your firm. I understand the desire to go deeper in the planning process with clients and create a closer connection between their values and the resources available to them.
So, my team and I set out with the goal to provide a next-generation, fiduciary model where advisors and clients can flourish. We have built a scalable model. Our aim is to become the Chick-Fil-A of wealth management.
We don’t put the cross on the front door, but we are unapologetic about the fact that our principles are aligned with Biblical truth.
We want to compete heads-up with our acumen and serve clients with excellence. The freedom of independence allows us to help families thrive across generations by connecting their money to their purpose.
